We have read that in the nineties they were something like the adolescence of the time. During this decade that ended with the Cold War, thinkers like Fukuyama came to affirm that it would be the end of History, that the wars would have ended and that everything that would come could not be anything other than prosperity.
We were born and grew up in the nineties. We played at being adults and fantasized about a future like our parents'.
They promised us, in fact, that this future would be better than theirs.
The piece is built on the idea of return. A romance to our generation and the parents of our generation. What could we say to each other? How could we write a story of reconciliation? Given the present, we look back and try to combine History with history to try to throw into the void some questions that still await answers.
